1887 (MY 11) registered cover to Birmingham franked three single 5c ‘Common Seal’ tied by ‘235’ obliterators with St Johns cds bottom left, two Liverpool transits; backflap missing.
c.1860 printed circular from the ‘Canada Fur & Hat Company Montreal’ to Peterborough, franked by 1859 1c. pale rose, tied by ‘10’ numeral handstamp. Some separations along folds, still very attractive. It is rare for this handstamp to leave such a clear profile.
New Brunswick 1858 internal cover bearing 3d. dull red with good to close margins, tied full grid of bars; Vincent Graves Greene Certificate 2004.
Nova Scotia 1804 entire to London bearing on reverse two-line Halifax date stamp, on arrival forwarded with manuscript "Care of James Heggie Esquire/ Merchant Kircaldy" and showing appropriate red cancels. (42E)

Two entires from the Bishop of Quebec, both to London, the first from 1800, redirected on arrival, the second from 1802, a duplicate entire. The first with virtually full red wax seal, Ship Letter Quebec oval ‘crown’ handstamps.
