1875 (MY 24) cover to Mons, Belgium bearing 2d. rose and 1/- brown both cancelled by superb ‘A42’ and showing equally fine despatch alongside (Proud D2 and te earliest recorded), “1/1” manuscript rating, London Paid of 14 JU, reverse with Kingston (MY 4), ANGLETERRE/OUEST entry (14.6) and Mons Station (14.6.) backstamps; a most attractive franking.
1888 underfranked envelope to Ohio, USA franked two 1883-97 wmk Crown CA 2d. slate cancelled with unclear square circles, triangular framed ‘T’ handstamp, U.S. CHARGE/ TO/ COLLECT handstamp with ’16 Cents’ charge alongside and franked 1884 1c., 5c. and 10c. red brown each with pen initials, reverse with Kingston and New York transits.
1889 (19 Oct) 3c. postal stationery card to Roseau, Dominica, endorsed “Via Panama” with Valparaiso cds, two-line JAMAICA/ TRANSIT handstamp, Kingston square circle transit and Dominica arrival cds; fine condition with full message.
1890 (17 Oct) envelope from the Swedish Consulate at Santo Domingo to the Foreign Minister, Stockholm, Sweden, endorsed “pr vapor Ingles/ via Jamaica” and franked 1885-91 10c. Arms (2) tied single blue despatch cds, JAMAICA/TRANSIT handstamo below, reverse with Kingstn (OC19) and London (NO 6) transits, also showing the handstamp of Consulate in blue.
1890 ‘Penny Half Penny’ stationery card incorrectly addressed to London on the side reserved for the message, whilst the message has been written on the address side , therefore manuscript “Improperly used – taxed at letter rates”, triangular framed ‘T’, London arrival cds. A very rare adherence to the U.P.U. rules.
1891 (4 Abr) 10c. orange postal stationery envelope to Karlsruhe, Germany endorsed “per Vapor Ingles”, cancelled by bright blue Santo Domingo cds, reverse with Kingston Jamaica square circle transit (AP 6) and arrival cds (24.4.). Very fine and fresh.
1892 2c postal stationery card of Colombia sent from Bogota to Denmark and bearing squared-circle "KINGSTON/JAMAICA" date stamp and two line "JAMAICA/TRANSIT".
