Reverse with fine wax seal Legation Du Japon Madrid. Without arrival, some toning.

Only 312 being produced and these arrived in Tasmania on Dec 4th 1897, so this date of DE 8 must be one of the earliest known dates.
(Treaty Ports) 1886 incoming envelope from United States to its consulate at Foochow, franked 5c grey-brown that appears not to have been cancelled though there is some discolouration at top right, faint blue Hampton cds alongside, fine black ‘25/T’ charge handstamp applied at Foochow, reverse with San Francisco transit, Hong Kong transit (MR 4) and Foochowfoo arrival (MR 11); fine and scarce.
(Used in Persia) 1916 (14 Nov) registered cover from the Russian Consular Post in Tabriz to Switzerland, franked on reverse with 10k. in irregular block of five dark blue tied by double circle despatch cds, Petrograd censorship, arrival backstamp of 2.1.17; fine clean condition.
(Victoria) Two 1888 covers to Prague, both endorsed “Via Brindisi” and from Longford with stamps tied by ‘556’ numeral obliterators, the first dated AP 21 franked 2d. and 6d., the second dated SE17 with only a 6d. (damaged corner), both with Sale Victoria and Melbourne transits and arrival covers, the 6d cover with Brindisi transit, the 8d rate cover with Napoli and Bologna transits
1794 entire to Genoese Consul at Marseille, written from Genova bearing two-line 85/ MONACO handstamp at top; fine and clean condition
1808 entire to Montevideo with fine two-line red BUENOS/ AYRES; Extremely fine and fresh example.
1810 (SE 11) entire to Dublin, Ireland that has been handed into British Consulate at Cadiz after the mail had closed and too late to be included in the mail bag and thus carried loose to Falmouth where green CADIZ/ SE 11/ 1810/F date stamp was applied, manuscript “2/-“ rate applied for mail to Falmouth and then overland to London and thence to destination. The envelope with some spotting, a good clear strike of this scarce cancel.
1819 small folded internal entire to Cordoba with manuscript rating and fine two-line BUENOS/ AYRES. in red; fine condition, a late usage.
