Some slight damage at top left of left-hand stamp but an extremely rare concessionary usage (rate of 1d. for Panama transit charge and 1d. for Sailor’s rate) Only a few cover recorded. (Canary Islands) 1853 entire to Buenos Ayres with endorsement on reverse folded out for display which was overlaid once delivered to the “Paqueta Amalia” Captain at Cadiz, datelined from Puerto Real and endorsed “Via de Tenerife” and bearing very fine British crown-circle PAID AT TENERIFFE, where "2/-" double rate was charged,"10" quartos charged on arrival. Some slightly trimmed perfs, a very rare franking which was contrary to regulations. Ex L.C.C. Nicholson 1940 and J. Grant Glasco 1969.
(Guatemala) 1866 (NO 1) stampless entire to Lima, Peru bearing 6d., JG, plate 5 tied by 'C35' Panama duplex applied in transit, CORREOS GUATEMALA despatch date stamp, with large Compagnie Generale Transatlantique Agence De Guatemala in darker shade of blue on reverse, obverse with framed FRANCO, reverse with manuscript "2" and black handstamped '2' that has been obliterated and replaced below with handstamped '1'; a fine and extremely rare usage of Great Britain stamps.

A little roughly opened at top, a late usage of 4d. rate at the Panama Packet Agency following entry of Colombia into UPU on 1.7.1881. Very rare with only 2 such covers recorded and not listed in S.G., R.P.S. Certificate.
(Porto Rico) 1874 (FE 12) outer letter sheet to Cadiz franked 1867-80 10d. horizontal strip of three, LF-LH, plate 1 cancelled by two ‘C61’ obliterators, red Porto-Rico Paid cds, oval-framed ‘P.D’ and ‘4d’ accountancy handstamp, London transit at right and Cadiz arrival backstamp; some slight splitting in the lettersheet but mostly a fine example of a rare franking for a double weight letter.
