1871 cover front to London franked pair Great Britain 1867-80 1s. green, plate 1, MI-MJ cancelled by ‘C51’ obliterator, red St Thomas Paid cds below, arrival at left; fine condition but only the front.
1873 outer letter sheet to Marseille datelined 26th October from Jacmel, Haiti bearing company chops front and back and carried privately to St Thomas where franked Great Britain 1873-80 3d rose, plate 11, SD and 1865-73 4d. plate 13, LL tied ‘C51 St Thomas Paid’ duplex, red oval-framed PD and London tranit, French entry cds additionally tying 3d., reverse with Paris transit and arrival; a couple of light stains not unduly detracting from fine appearance.
1888 (21/3) ‘Telegram’ envelope registered to “United States Steamer, Atlanta, Port au Prince” franked 3c., 4c. and 10c. (repaired corner) tied St Thomas cds, registration handstamp at left alongside manuscript arrival note for Mar 31st, reverse with Port Au Prince Haiti cds of 29 Mars. Rare registered stamped telegramme.
1889 (5 Aout) cover to St. Thomas, Danish West Indies bearing fine negative seal Haiti/ Postes/ Cap Haitien with cds in association alongside, arrival backstamp. Fine and clean condition.
1889 (7/12) 10c. stationery envelope to Frankfurt cancelled in manuscript “SS. Cyclops/ Samana/(date)” routed via St Thomas on 13/12, circular-framed ‘T’ handstamp, blue manuscript charge on arrival.
