1869 cover to Poste Restante, Interlaken, Switzerland franked Arms perf 13 x 12½ 2s. (4th printing), 3s. (2nd printing) and 8s. (1st printing) at correct 13s. rate tied by ‘25’ three-ring numerals with Horsholm cds in association at base, manuscript “2” crossed out in blue crayon and “1 wf” added, reverse with N.SJ.JB.P.B. datestamp, three-line Kiel/ Hamburg tpo and arrival cancels. 1871 printed entire to Dax franked 1863-71 Laureated Napoleon 1c. and pair 2c. plus Ceres 20c. cancelled gros chiffres ‘532’ with Bordeaux cds in association. Trimmed perfs to 25c. and vertical creasing to entire, still an attractive three colour franking with some creases clear of stamps.
