1906 picture postcard from Vienna addressed to Bagamojo Kilwa, showing central arrival cancel, redirected then to Ibo Nyassa with Dar-Es-Salaam transit to right and final arrival to left; top right stamp with corner fault otherwise fine and attractive.
1908 commercial envelope from a E. Oldenburg at Ibo (Nyasa) to Hamburg, endorsed “via Daressalaam/ & Neapel”. The envelope has been carried by a coastal mail paquebot to Dar Es Salaam where the 10pf Germania has been tied by unclear DEUTSCHE SEEPOST/OST-/AFRIKA-/ LINIE q date stamp and overstruck on arrival ‘Deutsche Schutzgebiet’ handstamp.
