1864-71 Wmk Large Star 6d. brown bearing a good example the rare Province of Auckland 6 cds. This cancel was used at the time of the Waikato War, July, 1863 – May 1865 and as a relief during 1866. Only three copies of the numeral 6 cancellation are known and July 3, 1866 is the latest date recorded.
