New Guinea 1915 (Jan 12) registered cover to Melbourne franked with German New Guinea G.R.I./ 3d. surcharge registration label and additionally franked Australia Roos ½d., 2d. and 2½d. and KGV 1d. in two pairs, cancelled by five double oval RABAUL NEW BRITAIN date stamps, that on registration label the 12th and others 14th; small tear at right of envelope and filing crease affecting one 1d., a little toning, a rare franking.
