Saint Vincent 1869 (Nov 9)’Duke De Polignac’ double rate outer letter sheet to Paris franked 1862-68 1d rose-red, perf 11½ to 12½ in a vertical strip of four overlapping a single 1869 1s. indigo, cancelled by three strikes of vertical ‘A10’ obliterator, small red St Vincent despatch, “1/3” credit in red crayon at left, London Paid transit, circular-framed PD and Calais entry cds all on front, redirected on arrival with Paris cds and final Moisselles arrival. A most attractive, rare cover.
