Peru (British Post Offices) 1876 (MY 22) outer letter sheet to Nantes, France bearing combination franking Peru 1866-67 20c. brown Llama with Great Britain 1867 10d. red-brown tied by bold strike of ‘C38’ obliterator, reverse with Callao despatch cds of British Post Office, fine PANAMA TRANSIT cds on front (May 29) and carried by French Packet ‘Washington’ with circular ‘Ligne A Paq.Fr.No.2’ cds (June 1) on reverse (Salless 1401). Underpaid and taxed on arrival with ‘15’ decime charge.
