PACKET’ handstamp at top on front, whilst on reverse fine condition double-ring Macao cds and PAGO/ EM/ MACAO crown circle plus arrival cds of 11 Jun. The vast majority of mail from Macao to Europe was routed via Hong Kong, and transported in one of the P&O Steamers, only occasionally was mail handed to the French packets.
