CHINA: Local Posts, Chinkiang Local Post, 1894 (Nov 27): Cover to Switzerland, endorsed "Via Canada" bearing Chinking first issue ½ ca. rose vertical pair tied by perfect "CHINKIANG / POSTAL SERVICE" double-ring cds, used in combination with French Post Offices Sage 25 c. black / rose overprinted "Chine" (YT 8), tied by "SHANG-HAI / CHINE" cds (Nov 29), reverse bears further despatch, unclear "SHANGHAI LOCAL POST" transit in blue and "BADEN / AARGAU" arrival cds (5 Jan 95).
