1831 (Ja 18) entire to London, endorsed “Pr Packet” and rated “2/2” and bearing double-arc despatch datestamp on reverse; vertical filing crease affecting date stamp, clean condition.
1845 (23/9) outer letter sheet addresed “To the Secretaries of the Wesleyan Missions/ at the Centenary Hall and Mission House, Bishopsgate” London rated “1/-“ (deleted) and re-rated “2” showing a good strike of the very rare CARRIACOU straight-line handstamp in brownish ink, the revrse with two arriva datestamps (20.10). An exceptionally rare marking with three dated in 1842 and this example being the latest recorded and only one in 1845. Ex Danforth Walker and Hackmey, RPS Cert The London proof book shows this marking as CARRIACOU/ SHIP LETTER although no examples with the ship letter portio have ever been found, probably as it was considered to be more useful purely as a normal town name marking.

1858 (Sep 9) quadruple rate outer letter sheet without side flaps from St George’s to London franked Great Britain 1856 6d. lilac, a horizontal strip of four cancelled by ‘A15’ obliterators, reverse with GRENADA double arc cds with date error ‘0SP9’, London arrival alongside. A very rare usage, the strip of four being the largest franking of this value in Grenada. Ex. E.Yates 1940, J. Hackmey and H.Wood.
1859 outer letter sheet to London franked Great Britain 6d lilac cancelled ‘A15’ obliterator, endorsed “Per Steamer 25th april 1859”, red Paid London arrival cds of MY 19, reverse with double-arc Grenada date stamp; good condition
1860 (8th April) outer letter sheet to London pre paid with a British 6d lilac showing a manuscript cancel, endorsement at top with date, red London Paid cds at centre, reverse with small Grenada cds. This must be one of the last letters to be franked this way as all British stamps were withdrawn on 1st May.
1881 blue entire to London bearing single franking 4d. blue lightly cancelled with A Grenada cds with further strike at right, red London arrival cds on front. Unclear watermark type, light filing creases.
1883 duplicate entire to London bearing single franking 4d. greyish slate tied by A Grenada AU 07 83 cds, with further strike to left, arrival backstamp.

1891 (30 MY) 2d registration envelope uprated with three 1891 POSTAGE AND REVENUE d./1 on 2s orange (SG 44) plus Grenada Revenue 3d. key type, stamps each cancelled twice by Grenada D date stamps of 30 MY and 1 JU; some slight toning not detracting unduly.
1892 (JY 13) registered cover to Munich franked 1886 1d. on 4d. orange plus 1883 2½d., 6d. and 8d. all tied by GRENADA cds, large oval framed ‘R’ and red oval REGISTERED/ LONDON, arrival backstamp; a scarce surcharge value on cover.

1902 (FE 15) envelope to Chicago underfranked with 1895-99 ½d. vertical strip of three tied by three Grenada D date stamps, reverse with St Georges cds and Chicago arrival (Mar 4), obverse shows partly visible ‘T’ handstamp, COLLECT POSTAGE 4 CENTS handstamp and a pair of 2c postage due applied. 1906 (MY 31) registered cover from Colonial Postmaster to London bearing single franking 1904-06 1s tied G.P.O. cds; roughly opened at top with slight faults, the stamp showing fine original colour.
1913 registered cover to Paris franked ½d., 2d., 3d. and 1s. tied G.P.O. cds, red registration label at left, London transit backstamp. With contents, a letter from Post Office detailing the stamps enclosed.
