(Accountancy) 1860 entire from Royal Netherlands Steamship Company in Amsterdam (blue cachet on front) to Malta, rated "6" and showing Amsterdam despatch cds, framed accountancy 'FR./2f 16c' handstamp, red French entry cds, reverse with Marseille transit and arrival cds. This is the first day of use of this accountancy mark from Holland, rare ex 'Francisco' & 'Camillery'. Interesting letter which refers to the RNSC concerns regarding coaling and quarantine of their vessels.
