Austrlia (Tasmania) 1898 2d. green postal stationery envelope with black printed image entitled ‘Mount Wellington in Winter, from Huon road Hobart’; a Post Office issued envelope cto with Hobart DE 8 98 cds, fine condition. Only 312 being produced and these arrived in Tasmania on Dec 4th 1897, so this date of DE 8 must be one of the earliest known dates.
