Portugal (Madeira) 1880 (3/8) envelope to Birkenhead bearing mixed issues franking 1875-76 15r brown (p.13½), 1879-80 10r green (p.13½), 1880 5r and two 25r lilac (p.13½) tied three Funchal datestamps, Southampton Ship Letter transit of AU 14, arrival backstamps; three of the stamps affixed over the top of the envelope with some resultant damage, large part of backflap missing.
