IRELAND: 1822 (17 Aug.) entire letter from Edinburgh to William Whaley at the Post Office in Dublin, marked "N2" , rated "1/2" with straight line "NOT CALLED FOR" handstamp in red alongside collection and transit markings and receiving 24.08 d.s. on reverse. Entire with discreet repair otherwise fine and a scarce instructional marking.
