1858 incoming outer letter sheet from Madras, India to Rangoon with ships endorsement and franked 1865 1a horizontal strip of three tied by diamond of dots handstamps, at centre framed ‘RANGOON/ SHIP LETTER/ Bg. ANNA’ three-line handstamp with manuscript charge, this suffering from ink erosion, horizontal filing crease, otherwise good appearance.
1867 (DE 26) cover to Sydney, Australia franked by two pairs of 1867 Wmk Spray 10d. red-brown, plate 1, SK-SL and RK-RL, tied by London SW 20 duplex, some slight faults with SK damaged top left, RK tiny nick bottom left. Envelope endorsed “Via Marseille” and Ship Letter Sydney backstamp. A fine high franking multiple franking. R.P.S,L Certificate 2015.

HONG KONG : 1851 entire written from Canton to Georgetown, D.C., USA endorsed “Via Southampton” bearing central , somewhat faint Paid Crown Circle, to left of this two-line ‘SHIP LETTER/ VICTORIA-HONGKONG’, Red British PAID cds overstruck New-York 5cts cds, reverse with faint Hong Kong cancel; some oxidised reddish ink staining, an unusual combination of Ship Letter and Crown circle.

Two entires from the Bishop of Quebec, both to London, the first from 1800, redirected on arrival, the second from 1802, a duplicate entire. The first with virtually full red wax seal, Ship Letter Quebec oval ‘crown’ handstamps.
