(Victoria) 1901 (29.1.) A Becketts Pianos, Organs and Musical Instruments of Collins Street, Melbourne illustrated advertising cover sent registered to Meriden, Conn., USA, the franking with one stamp over the edge with some resultant damage, arrival backstamps, still an an attractive cover.
1876 'Royal Victoria Hotel, Nassau' printed illustrated envelope to New York franked 4d. 'chalon' tied cds, straight-line 'Due 3' handstamp alongside. The envelope slightly reduced at side but still a fine early advertising cover

1912 illustrated Chemist’s advertising envelope to New York franked 1911 Insurrection Centenary 5c. and pair of 6c. tied by barred cancel with San Salvador Foreign Mail date stamp in association., handstamped ‘Via Salina Cruz – New York’.; fine and attractive.
1934 fine colour illustrated legal size envelope by Hotel Plaza, Havana promoting tourism to the Island with various images including the Casino and Race Track, franked 10c. on 25c Correo Aereo Nacional tied Habana – Miami slogan cancel, two vertical filing creases, attractive.
1936 (13 AU) ‘Cricket Bat’ illustrated advertising cover to a Sports and Games manufacturer in London sent by airmail with single franking 50c. tied appropriate cds, at centre two-line DAMAGED BY/ SEA WATER cachet. The flying Boat developed engine trouble between Alexandria and Brindisi and crashed sinking quickly. 38 bags of mail were recovered, dried and forwarded, scarce with stamp still attached and a very rare Cricket related cover.
Victoria: 1900 ‘Grand Hotel’ Melbourne illustrated advertising cover to London bearing single franking 2 ½d. tied double-ring cds, underfranked with octagonal framed T/25c and then, on arrival a 5d/ F.B./B. Applied with square circle date stamp, reverse with various London cds and violet manuscript “Gone Away “ and signed.
