Cuba 1875 (19 June) envelope to Germany with pair 50c. with ‘P.C.’ in circle cancels, stamps not valid as Cuba not a UPU member and thus framed ‘UNPAID’ handstamp applied at New York with handstamped ‘7’ alongside for credit to USA, this deleted in blue crayon and rated “80” on arrival. Fine example of framed ‘Aus Westindien/ uber Newyork’ handstamp at left applied at Bremen (Four franked letters from Cuba recorded). A fine and rare item. Ex Kouri.
