(London 1908 Olympics) 1908 Monaco composite imperf proof sheet for various advertising/Exposition vignettes. The sheet in dull orange-brown with 71 item including four for ‘Nice Carnival’, two for Motor Boat Running and two for an Exhibition of Motor Boats, vertical column of nine, Paris Fair, Agricultural show and British Olympic Committee, four columns for Monaco Car Expo in two different designs. Heavy vertical and horizontal fold causing some splitting, also a couple of small tears and faults. These vignettes for 1908 Olympics are the only philatelic related items that mention the Games. A rare item.
