Chimborazo/ Naples’ bearing mixed franking 1885-95 ½d., 1d. and 4d., together with 1885 Stamp Duty overprinted 2s, upright watermark cancelled by grid of bars, registration handstamp and Melbourne date stamp, arrival backstamp of 22/6. A fine cover with believed to be unique usage of a 2s Stamp Duty.

A rare three colour franking and usage. Ex Besancon.
1891 (26 OC) registered cover to Hannover bearing ten 1891 1d dull mauve Postal Fiscals consisting of two pairs and a strip of six tied by clear Eshowe cds; a heavy filing crease at left causing a little splitting. A very fine multiple franking.
1892 (27 Apr) long blue envelope registered to Germany, franked 1888 6d. and 1891 Natal Postal Fiscal 1d. (10) all cancelled with Nkandhla Zululand triple ring date stamp in violet, Registered London at center, reverse with Eshowe (29.4.), Dundee (30.4.) and arrival; central vertical crease, a remarkable franking from this small office.
