1889 3d. Jubilee postal stationery card to Rolle, Switzerland bearing square circle London N.W. date stamp, the front also showing Ambulant No.6 and arrival cds; good condition with message.
1892 (12 MEI) registered cover to Hannover franked 1889-90 2d. olive-bistre strip of three and two singles and 6d blue all tied by blue square-circled Bremersdorp/ Swaziel date stamp, ‘R/ Z.A.R.’ registration handstamp in same colour, transit and arrival backstamps. A fine double weight registered cover, ex Talbot Cox and Fred Boom.
1893 (3 Apr) ‘Van Gorcum’ envelope to Holland franked 1889-92 ½d. grey with black or carmine overprints, 1d. carmine and 2d. olive-bistre tied square circle Bremersdorp date stamps, reverse with Johannesburg (AP 7), Capetown (AP 11), red London transit (AP 26) and Assen arrival of 29 Apr; some slight faults to envelope, a colourful franking. 1893 (OC 23) cover to Trondheim, Norway franked three1867-81 1d. purple Postal Fiscal, Die I tied by three Birkenhead square circles; sellotape repair on reverse, good looking with strong colour.
1894 (SP 11) registered cover to England franked 1892 2d., 1894 1d. blue and bisected 1d.and 2d., making correct total of 4 1/2d. tied Bonny square circle date stamps, small 'R' handstamp at left with manuscript number, Liverpool transit on face and Warrington backstamp. fine and attractive.
1895 (DE 31) cover from BUSHIRE to Cairo franked on reverse by India 1892-96 2a.6p. yellow-green tied by fine large part strike of type Z16 ("C14") "BUSHIRE" squared circle (still clearly showing "E" complete) with two strikes of boxed "TOO LATE" above (applied at the Bushire P.O.). Bold "SUEZ" (27 1 96) and "CAIRE" (28 1 96) transit and arrival cds alongside. Some cover creases but desirable with the "TOO LATE" marking.
1897 (MR 30) 1d. stationery card addressed to the Post Office at Bonny cancelled by red square circle Warri datestamp, the cancel repeated bottom left for reasons of clarity, Forcados River transit additionally tying stamp image and Bonny River arrival at left. Card with full message, a little ink running, a good internal usage.
1897 (NO 12) registered cover to Wolverhampton franked 1d. (2) and 2½d. tied by red square circle Warri date stamp, ‘R’ handstamp to left, oval Liverpool transit below, reverse with another fine despatch date stamp and arrival cds. The wax seal on reverse is from Customs House Warri.
1902 registered cover to Philadelphia franked three ½d. green and three 1d. Llandovery Falls slate-black and red tied by Up Park Camp square circles, also showing oval Jamaica Registered handstamp and oval framed ‘R’, reverse with Boston transit and arrival cds; fine and neat cover.
1905 incoming picture postcard from Bengasi, Libia underfranked with Italy 5c. tied square-circle date stamp, black handstamped 'T' at left and circular framed '4d' charge handstamp which has been cancelled by overstriking with A25 obliterator, oval Valetta date stamp and Retn Letter Branch G.P.O. Malta cds; some slight staining of little importance.
