A fine double weight registered cover, ex Talbot Cox and Fred Boom.
1893 (3 Apr) ‘Van Gorcum’ envelope to Holland franked 1889-92 ½d. grey with black or carmine overprints, 1d. carmine and 2d. olive-bistre tied square circle Bremersdorp date stamps, reverse with Johannesburg (AP 7), Capetown (AP 11), red London transit (AP 26) and Assen arrival of 29 Apr; some slight faults to envelope, a colourful franking.
