1878 envelope to Firenze, Italy franked Great Britain 1864-79 1d. , plate 179 and three 1870-79 ½d. plates 13 (2) and 15 tied ‘942’ obliterators with Larnaca Cyprus cds in association, reverse with Brindisi transit and arrival cds; one ½d. damaged top right and tear in backflap extending onto front, a fine and rare franking.
1879 (Dec 9) entire written in French from Larnaca to Rhodes, franked Great Britain 1870 ½d.. plate 20, MO and 1858-69 2d. blue, plate 15, JB tied by two strikes of the ‘942’ obliterator with LARNACA CYPRUS date stamp alongside, reverse with Austrian Post Office RODI arrival cds in blue. Some minor aging but an extremely rare entire. Ex H Wood.

Reverse with white perforated sealing label cancelled by fine Larnaca cds, arrival backstamp. Very fine condition.
