Ireland 1762 (16 Aug) entire from Charleston, South Carolina to London, rated “5” which has been deleted and replaced with “11d”, manuscript “ship” top right and straight-line ‘CLONMELL’ below, reverse with straight-line ‘COUNTRY’ and arrival Bishopmark. A remarkable item , believed to be the only recorded ship letter from Clonmel which was further upstream from Dungarvan.
