1891 (27/12) reply postal stationery card used from Hamburg to Dundee, with number 291 f at bottom right, arrival cds of DE 29 and sent back to Hamburg with very fine Dundee ‘114’ duplex despatch of Dec 31, arrival cds to left. Both cards with long messages, some slight splitting along fold.
1892 (12 Juin) 5pf German reply postal stationery card, used from Austria to a ship at Hong Kong with full message, reverse of reply section with Singapore to Hong Kong marine sorter, used back to Dresden, Germany with the added Austrian stamp and German 5pf image with pen cancels, Hong Kong SP 2 index E despatch cds, arrival cds of 10/10. Some splitting to join otherwise fine and unusual.
1896 (7/2) '20 Para 20' on 5k. reply stationery card with outer section to MELLENBACH, Austria and cancelled 'BEIRUT/OESTERREICHES POST', arrival cds to left of 16/2. The reply section returned to Beirut on 22/4 with arrival cds of 2/5. Each card with long messages. The outward card with vertical crease and cards separated although is likely they were once a pair.
1901 10o. postal stationery reply card used from Constantinople to Stockholm bearing company handstamps front and back cancelled Constantinopel Deutsche Post cds of 30/4 that is overstruck by blue Stockholm arrival of 5/5; fine and rare.
1904 (21.1.) 5p postal stationery reply card to Mwaya (Muaja) before the opening of the local post office, regarding a Lloyd agency from Chinde, Mozambique, unnecessarily additionally franked with 25r of Portuguese Zambezia, tied single Deutsche Seepost Ostafrika Linie p cds, Tanga transit of 9/3, Dar es Salaam 11.3 and Langenburg cds of 11/4. The reverse with a Fort Johnson, Nyasaland transit that must have been applied on the outward journey. The lengthy delay in forwarding from Tanga remains unexplained. Fine and unusual, rare reply card.
1910 intact 5h internal reply stationery card with outward part addressed to Graz tied K.Und K.Militarpost Gorazda cds without any uprating stamp but not charged, the reply section returned to Banjaluka from Graz, again not uprated but this time 2h Postage Due added and tied Banjaluka date stamp.
