(Ballon Monte) 1870 (26 Oct) small entire to St Petersbourg, Russia franked 1863-71 Laureated Napoleon 80c. tied ‘18’ Paris Star with Paris, A. D’Amsterdam cds in association, framed PD and red manuscript rates in transit. Small tear at back, fine and fresh to rare destination. The letter was sent to Councellor of State Mr Alexandre de Schulz denying any involvement of Prince Napoleon in scandal with forger of Russia’s banknotes made by Mr. Dombrowsky.

1877 (19 Dic) envelope addressed to Tsar Alexander II at St Peterburg, Russia franked 1877 10c. blue and 20c. dull orange tied by single fine ‘2368’ barred numeral, Urbania Marche cds in association at left, Urbino Marche cds on reverse together with St Petersburg Chancellery arrival cds; light vertical creasing otherwise fine.
1890. 13 November, return receipt with certificate of posting, from St Petersburg to Ekaterinburg, bearing 7kop blue (1889 issue) tied by small double circle St Petersburg cds. At the top manuscript notation about 1,000R sent with this letter to the same recipient at Ekaterinburg. Reverse shows Ekaterinburg 25.11 despatch and St Petersburg arrival 6 Dez. 1890
