A good early example.
1899 (5 Aug) 1c postal stationery card to Germany additionally franked CIP Coiling Dragon 1c and 2c. tied Canton cds, pair of Hong Kong 2c. added and cancelled by framed I.P.O. tie print of Canton (Webb type 1), and cancelled Hong Kong index B cds, arrival cds at bottom left tying two stamps. A fine example on stationery.
1899 (Sept. 20) registered picture postcard from Peking to Wiesbaden via Hong Kong, redirected to Munich bearing C.I.P. 4c and 5c pair, cancelled by Peking bilingual cds, Shanghai transit cds in combination with Hong Kong 2c (2) and 10c with I.P.O. framed tie-print (type 2) and Shanghai index C cds), with “R” unframed and “R” in circle handstamp adjacent; slight scuff on picture side otherwise a good example of this rare sized tie print.

1902 (30 Apr) “On Postal Service” registered envelope (embossed “Custom House, Wuhu” seal on flap) addressed to British Post Office Shanghai, showing Service des Postes circular cachet, unframed ‘R’ handstamp at left and Wuhu bilingual cds, reverse with black Shanghai Registered square circle of MA 2. Some slight ageing and mount marks on reverse. A rare envelope.
1902 (Feb. 28) registered envelope from the German Consulate in Canton to Berlin, “Kaiserlich Deutsches Konsulat/in Canton” paper seal on flap, bearing C.I.P. 5c salmon vertical pair, cancelled by R unframed handstamps, and 10c (3), cancelled by Canton bilingual cds, in combination with Hong Kong Chinese character surcharge 20c on 30c pair with I.P.O. framed tie-print (type 2) and Registered G.P.O. cds; the 5c. slightly oxidised and a few tones at left.
1903 (Aug 8) 1c postal stationery card to Shanghai cancelled by good strike of rare CHINGCHOW bilingual oval, bilingual Kiaochow transit and Shanghai Local Post index A arrival cds; good condition.
1903 picture postcard of Li Hung Shan, viceroy of Canton addressed to a member of the military at Tsingtau franked CIP 1/2c. strip of four and 1c. pair tied by three good examples of the Sun and Moon ‘Tsimo Post Office’ cancel letter box framed handstamp bottom left (Tsimo-hsien/ Chengyang/ No.12), bilingual Kiaochow cds and German Tsingtau Kiautschou final arrival. Very fine condition.

1904 (May 18) registered cover to Budapest franked 10c. and 20c. tied oval Choutsun oval bilingual date stamp with registration handstamp in same ink alongside, additionally franked for overseas postage with Kiautschou 30pf. pair tied Tsingtau Kiautschou cds whose registration label appears at base, reverse with blue Kiaochow cds and arrival cds.
