1907 75c De La Rue frame die proof in black on glazed card, Before Hardening and date handstamps, fine
1919 cover to “Banque du Congo Belge” bearing mixed franked India I.E.F. 2a. and G.E.A. overprinted 3c, the use of I.E.F. stamps were allowed in 1919, 2 annas was equivalent to 12 cents, thus 15c. foreign rate, Kigoma belonged to Belgian Congo until 22/3/21. The stamps cancelled by manuscript “Tabora”, reverse with Kigoma arrival cds; fine and unusual.
1920 picture postcard to Switzerland franked on face with 10c. tied unclear cds of 24 AP (Nairobi?), Mombasa transit of next morning on reverse together with manuscript "Received under cover addressed to the Postmaster, Nairobi, B.E. Africa" and initialled.The card has no real message but is endorsed "15/11/19 Darasalem Tanga"
1920 registered photographic postcard to Stocksund, Sweden bearing single franking 50c. tied Hoima cds (of Uganda), unclear local registration date stamp, registration label alongside stamp, hooded London transit and arrival cds top left. Some slight surface abrasions to front, a scarce item.
1927 (5 AU) 30c (Giraffe) registered stationery to USA uprated 25c tied Dar Es Salaam cds with smudged small 'A.R.' in circle (advice of receipt), London registered transit backstamp in red and violet Boston arrival, few minor peripheral faults.
1928 (5 Apr) cover to Brava, Somalia franked on reverse with 10c and 20c which have been cancelled upon arrival; envelope slightly cut down, unusual.
1933 commercial cover from Bombay, India, franked on reverse pair 1a.3p tied 'MOMBASA/PAQUEBOT' cds with arrival cds below.
