1872 entire to Nueva York, endorsed “Via de Inglaterra” franked 1870 ‘Espana’ 400m. tied rhomboid of dots, Barcelona cds alonside partly overstruck by London PAID transit, N.Y. Steamship 3 cds below for local carriage.

1873 (13/1) cover to Andover, Mass., USA bearing single franking 2½Gr. tied double-ring Tharant cds, red straight-line FRANCO and New York Paid All cds; some slight faults to edges of envelope.

1874 (May 8) outer letter sheet to Charleston, USA franked 1873 ‘Peace’ 5c., 25c. and 50c. cancelled by diamond of dots (Rombo de puntas), dark blue oval-framed P.D. , weak Barcelona cds at right, routed through England with red London PAID cds of 12 MY partly overstruck by New York U.S. Currency/ Due 3 accountancy datestamp of May 23.

1885 cover to Maine, USA franked 25c. General Colony tied violet Dakar cds with another strike to left, Ligne J Paq. Fr. No.1 maritime cds and Boston F.D. Paid date stamp at left, Paris Etranger Paris backstamp, the backflap of envelope with printed FLAGSHIP LANCASTER

1906 registered cover to Boston, USA bearing mixed reign issues tied Maltese Cross datestamps, reverse with London transit and arrival cds; good condition.


HONG KONG : 1851 entire written from Canton to Georgetown, D.C., USA endorsed “Via Southampton” bearing central , somewhat faint Paid Crown Circle, to left of this two-line ‘SHIP LETTER/ VICTORIA-HONGKONG’, Red British PAID cds overstruck New-York 5cts cds, reverse with faint Hong Kong cancel; some oxidised reddish ink staining, an unusual combination of Ship Letter and Crown circle.


India used in Singapore: 1860s printed envelope to Haverhill, Mass., USA bearing four colour franking tied by a little unclear 'B/172' cancels, red London transit below, '5 N.York Am Pkt date stamp and cursive '16 cents' accountancy,the reverse bearing good example of double oval 'FORWARDED BY BOUSTEAD & Co.' and Singapore date stamp;tiny piece of backflap missing, fine and rare.

Nova Scotia: post 1860 cover to Jedburgh, Scotland bearing single franking 12½c. black tied ‘H’ obliterator of Halifax, transit and arrival backstamps affected by missing part of backflap.
