1864 (9/4) envelope to London from Paramaribo whose blue date stamp appears at right, partly overstruck with XXIV Cents (!st Setting, Ist printing, perf 12) applied at Georgetown with an unclear ‘A03’ obliterator, red London paid to left of SP 26, reverse with Demarara transit and final arrival.
1872 (23 FE) envelope to England bearing single-franking 4th Setting, type A, perf 10 XXIV Cents tied italic ‘A03 Georgetown’ duplex, sent direct to Liverpool, arrival backstamp MR 14; some faults and repairs to backflap.

1878 outer letter sheet to Georgetown, British Guiana franked pair perf 12½ 50r yellow-green Crowns of Cabo Verde cancelled by blue target handstamp, which was in use at Portuguese Guinea, London PAID transit, reverse with JU 3 78 arrival cds. Fine and very rare to a most unusual destination.
1879 3c postal stationery colour proof in dull magenta, the card with full text as the issued card. Type II with ‘N’ of ‘Union’ beyond the ‘E’ of ‘Guyane’ below. Very fine unused.

1926 (JA 11) ‘On His Majesty’s Service’ registered envelope to Georgetown, British Guiana franked with pair Leeward Islands 3d. purple/yellow tied by single cds, reddish violet registration handstamp bottom left with blue manuscript number, reverse with transits of St John’s Antigua (JA 13) and two Barbados (19 Jan) plus arrival cds (24 JA).
1931 (21 JY) registered airmail first day cover of Centenary of Colony Union, the full set of five tied Registration British Guiana cds, Air Mail G.P.O. cds of same date, to Port of Spain, Trinidad with arrival backstamps; some negligible toning around some perfs and air etiquette not detracting.
1933 (19 JU) underfranked ‘Panton’ envelope from British Guiana with 1c. Centenary tied cds, ‘T’ in circle handstamp, on arrival 1932 Centenary ½d. and 2½d. added and tied Georgetown cds, repeated at left and on reverse; some glue staining.
