(Disinfected Mail) 1848 outer letter from Plovdiv to Pest, entering into Serbian disinfection station at Aleksinac with reasonably full was seal, transferred into the Serbian postal system and on entry in Austria Hungarian Empire disinfected at Semlin whose handstamp appear on reverse next to the Aleksinac seal. A fine example of rare double disinfection.
(Romania) 1870 outer letter sheet from Gurgevo to Galatz franked with Danube River Company 10kr. (type I) tied by blue oval ship handstamp SOFIE II , Tchill type 302; a fine example of this rare cancel, Ex. Jerger. Gurgevo was the Romanian city opposite Bulgarian Ruse on the Danube.

(Turkey) 1895 (18 X) 20pa postal stationery card written from Adrinopel and addressed to Switzerland cancelled en route in Bulgaria with bilingual Tzaribad tpo, Oerlikon arrival cds at left. Good condition.
1848 outer letter sheet sent to Pest from Plovdiv. Entering Serbia disinfected at Aleksinac, quarantine station wax seal applied on reverse. Letter was transferred to the Serbian postal system and on the entry to the Austrian Hungarian Empire disinfected at Semlin quarantine station. Reverse shows handstamp of this quarantine. Rare double disinfection cover passing through three different postal systems.
1854 cover to Limerick, Ireland, carried privately from Widdin, Bulgaria and put into the Austrian Post Office at Belgrade, Serbia, with two-line Belgrad date stamp, various manuscript markings on front, reverse with Semlin transit, London and Liverpool transits and Limerick arrival cds. Disinfected at Semlin with good strike, albeit overstruck with Netto Di Fuora E Sporco Di Dentro.Fine and rare cover, F. Puschmann certificate.
