1834 long entire to Switzerland bearing straight-line MALTA POST OFFICE handstamp overstruck with Marseille transit and to right framed PAYS D’OUTREMER and with fine strike of the very rare oval-framed 2s.; fresh condition.
1841 entire to Vevey, Switzerland cancelled on reverse French language, unframed St. Petersbourg circular handstamp, FRANCO/ AUS RUSSLAND transit applied in Berlin whose cds is on reverse, arrival backstamp. An extremely rare St Petersburg postmark, not recorded in Dobin. Baillie & Peel 1F, the three examples they record are all to Bordeaux. A rarity.

(1st printing) at correct 13s. rate tied by ‘25’ three-ring numerals with Horsholm cds in association at base, manuscript “2” crossed out in blue crayon and “1 wf” added, reverse with N.SJ.JB.P.B. datestamp, three-line Kiel/ Hamburg tpo and arrival cancels. 1874, Pre U.P.U. 15 para printed matter rate from Serbia to Switzerland, paid by 15 para Prince Milan (First printing, perf. 9 1/2:12) tied by Belgrade cds. Reverse shows Neuchatel arrival cds. Extremely rare Serbia’s pre U.P.U. foreign 15para printed matter rate up to 31gr to Switzerland, only three prospectuses are recorded.
1876 outer letter sheet to Glarus, Switzerland bearing Great Britain 1873-80, Watermark Small Anchor, plate 3, PA cancelled by ‘G06’ obliterator with British Post Office Beyrout cds in association, unclear Italian transit backstamp together with fine arrival cancels; good clean example.
