1874 entire to Odessa franked 1868 3k. and 1872-90 1k. brown (2 shades) on horizontal laid paper (some perfs faults) and 5k. vertical laid paper, from Constantinople with company cachet at base, the stamps themselves cancelled on arrival only; an attractive franking.
1877 envelope to Cairo bearing intaglio privilege seal of Sofia Hospital, incorrectly stampless for overseas destinations, blue Constantinople Turquie transit cds (12 Dec) and oval-framed ‘T.’, reverse with Poste Egiziane Alessandrie and Cairo date stamps of 18 Dic, front also shows a handstamp “3” postage due charge. Reduced slightly at top with part missing, otherwise clean and attractive.

1879 cover to Tauris, Persia, endorsed “Via Poti & Tifflis”, bearing thick ‘7’ on 10k. carmine and green, surcharged in black, tied by Konstantin cds (Dec 1) with another strike alongside, Tauris cds on reverse. A rare cover to an unusual destination, signed Romeko and Mikulski

Slight stain bottom left and some more on reverse not unduly detracting.
1901 10o. postal stationery reply card used from Constantinople to Stockholm bearing company handstamps front and back cancelled Constantinopel Deutsche Post cds of 30/4 that is overstruck by blue Stockholm arrival of 5/5; fine and rare.
1901 picture postcard registered from Constantinople to Milan bearing mixed franking Great Britain 1881 1d. lilac and 1887 ’40 PARAS’ on 2½d. purple/blue tied British Post Office Constantinople cds, violet oval-framed ‘R’ FEE PAID handstamp at base; small stain at right of 1d., a scarce registered postcard.
1906 picture postcard to Tsaritsyn, Russia, posted on board S.S. “Rossiya” while at Constantinople by traveller en route from Jaffa to Constanza, put ashore at Dardanelles where Russian Levant 2op on 4k. was cancelled by large oval R.O.P.i.T./ DARDNELLES AGENCY/ 1 APR 1906 date stamp in blue. Fine and rare, Ex. Dr. Casey.
