Fine example of framed ‘Aus Westindien/ uber Newyork’ handstamp at left applied at Bremen (Four franked letters from Cuba recorded). A fine and rare item. Ex Kouri. 1889 (Jun 18) mourning envelope to Gand, Belgium franked Small Dragon 3ca tied by fine blue Tientsin seal in combination with France 25c. ‘Sage’, both cancelled with Shanghai Chine cds, red French tpo below, reverse with Customs Tientsin cds, Customs Shanghai cds alongside of Jun 24, Paris Etranger transit of 3rd August and arrival cds of next day. Right-hand side panel is missing on reverse, correctly franked with all appropriate cancels present.
