1826 entire to Amsterdam bearing manuscript rate markings and stepped 'WEYMOUTH/SHIP LETTER' handstamp, forwarded through London by "Baring Brothers". The reverse of entire suggests that the entire was forwarded from Amsterdam to Batavia, Netherlands Indies.
1841 (27 July) entire to London, endorsed “Via New York” with manuscript “8” at centre, reverse with octagonal framed LIVERPOOL SHIP and red arrival cds of 29 DE, also on reverse a faint red oval Forwarding Agents cachet; light vertical filing crease.
1846 long entire datelined Guayania (24th Febrier) to Morsiglia, Corsica, carried to St Thomas, D.W.I. where large oval Forwarded By Henry Degetan & Co./ St Thomas handstamp with manuscript date (2/3 46), redirected upon arrival with double-ring Rogliane cds od 4 Avril and two smaller Bastia cds above, reverse also shows blue oval handstamp, a little unclear with manuscript echeminee par at centre. Front bears Le Havre transit and rating handstamp.
1848 entire from Zante to Boston, United States endorsed “Via Marseilles” without any clear indication of despatch except for commercial chop top right, addressed care of forwarding agents in London whose blue ornate handstamp appears at base, red PAID date stamp of London and red ‘29’ US accountancy.
1857 (JA 3) entire from Manchester to Alep endorsed with forwarding notation “Care of Mr Belfanti, Alexandretta, Syria”, endorsed “Via Marseilles” with French entry cds. On arrival two-line POSTE FRANCAISE/D’ALEP and straight-line in larger typeface TAXE, both in blue, Beyrouth Syrie backstamp. Vertical filing crease.
1859 cover to “Passenger Overland/ Post Office. Aden”, red Boston Paid cds, carried by British Packet at 39c rate on cunard “Niagura”. At top manuscript endorsement “N J Kindman’s complis/ Aden May 23rd 1859” for forwarding out of mails to Penang, a manuscript arrival endorsement on reverse.
1863 entire written from Switzerland with forwarding agents cachet from Locle (Suisse) to Lima, Peru, endorsed “Par Stmr La Plata” franked with 1853 imperf Napoleon 80c. (close to large margins) and 1862 perforated 40c. tied gros chiffres ‘1769/ B’ with Bureau Maritime cds in association, two red framed P.P., Panama double arc transit at centre, reverse with manuscript “Acheminee/ par” CH. VIGNIER/ HAVRE, Lima arrival cds alongside.
1867 entire from Odessa with fine company chop bottom left, forwarded to Constantinople with agents handstamp at top, addressed to Palermo, sicily and carried on French ship with octagonal Constantinople P.Fr. U No.3, framed Italian PIROSCAFI/POSTALI/FRANCESI handstamp, reverse with Messina transit and arrival date stamps.
1868 cover to New York franked 12c. and 30c. vermilion each cancelled B62 obliterators, envelope endorsed ”Via Marseilles” with London Paid transit, New York Paid All cds and ‘3 CENTS’ accountancy, reverse with Hong Kong cds and good strike of ‘Forwarded By/ Russell & Co./ Hong Kong’; fine and attractive cover.

India used in Singapore: 1860s printed envelope to Haverhill, Mass., USA bearing four colour franking tied by a little unclear 'B/172' cancels, red London transit below, '5 N.York Am Pkt date stamp and cursive '16 cents' accountancy,the reverse bearing good example of double oval 'FORWARDED BY BOUSTEAD & Co.' and Singapore date stamp;tiny piece of backflap missing, fine and rare.
