(Post Agencies in Mexico) 1914 (25.V.) registered printed envelope to Paris franked 5c. and 10c tied by framed Vera Cruz, Mexico/ U.S.Mail Agency, violet registration handstamp at left, arrival cds on front, reverse with Vera Cruz despatch cds, New York transit and further arrival cancels. Both the manuscript and printed routings have been crossed out and ignored.
1878 (AP 30) outer letter sheet to Puebla, Mexico franked 1873-80 4d. sage-green horizontal strip of three GG-GI, plate 15, tied ‘498’ Manchester duplex, without backstamps but below left-hand stamp a local carriage charge handstamp ‘25ct’. Good condition with a scarce multiple.
