1864 10k Black postal stationery envelope, 1855 narrow tail issue watermark 1 mirror image, 140 x 110mm, sent from Yaroslav to Chobaninie near Wieruszow (Warsaw region in Poland), on arrivl two different types of Warsaw transit cds in red applied; very fine, the earliest known usage of this stationery on arrival in Poland.
1865 (1 Aug) entire to Sira franked 1858 30k. perf 12½ tied by Taganrog cds, Odessa rhomboid transit backstamp and black circular FRANCO on front, Syros arrival backstamp and taxed “50” with Greek 10L and 40L added (40L touched margin at base)with fine Syros cds; a fine and attractive, scarce combination.
1865 entire to Bordeaux bearing indistinct boxed "Taganrog/9" (inverted) (Dobin type 1.05) superimposed by Paris and Bordeaux cds. Reverse also bears straight line "Novoselitsy" (Bessarabia) 'Otpr' (dispatched) in blue-green (Dobin type 1.02) and boxed MYSLOWITZ/ KANDRZIN. Obverse bears red boxed 'AUS RUSSLAND' and rated '14' decimes on arrival
1865 two entires from Odessa to Marseille each charged 11 decimes on arrival, bearing boxed 'Aus Russland' cachets and two different types of oval-framed 'Porto 3' handstamps.
1866 outer letter sheet to Paris franked 1864-65 3k. perf 12½ plus 5k. and 20k. perf 14½ x 15 tied by tpo cds with AUS RUSSLAND Uber BUR XI EDK.BRG/ FRANCO transit to left overstruck by blue Prusse Erquelines French entry cds, red P.D. handstamp at base; light vertical filing crease clear of stamps, an attractive item.
1868 cover from ROOP franked with 10kop 1866 issue tied by very RARE oval - date inserted by hand - 'POST:ROOP/18' handstamp, repeated on reverse together with RIGA cds.

1883, uprated 5kop stationery envelope with 2x1kop (1866 issue-horizontally laid paper) tied by Moscow cds, posted to Riga and redirected to Libava. Reverse shows TPO 85 serial 3 of Riga Muravyevo railway line, dated 14 January 1883. Earliest known date of this railway line by Kiryushkin-Robinson is 17 November 1883.
