1891 (25/7) 5kr. parcel card to Salerno, Italy franked 1890 3kr., 10kr. and 50kr. tied Wien Alsergrund III, reverse with Pontafel and Pontebra transits (The former the Slovenian name for the same town) and Salerno arrival; a few pin holes; good condition.


1891 (27/12) reply postal stationery card used from Hamburg to Dundee, with number 291 f at bottom right, arrival cds of DE 29 and sent back to Hamburg with very fine Dundee ‘114’ duplex despatch of Dec 31, arrival cds to left. Both cards with long messages, some slight splitting along fold.


1891 (31 Aug) envelope to Birmingham, endorsed “Per s.s. angola” and franked 6c. Numeral cancelled six bar handstamp and also by two-line POSTAGE DUE/ PAID handstamp, Monrovia cds alongside that shows inverted ‘31’in date, Paid Liverpool Br Packet entry cds in red at bottom left, arrival backstamp (SP 19); fine and scarce.

1891 (31/12) German 10pf postal stationery card to Germany cancelled by good strike of BAGAMOYO KDPAg cds; no further cancels, with short message in good condition.


1891 (4 Abr) 10c. orange postal stationery envelope to Karlsruhe, Germany endorsed “per Vapor Ingles”, cancelled by bright blue Santo Domingo cds, reverse with Kingston Jamaica square circle transit (AP 6) and arrival cds (24.4.). Very fine and fresh.


1891 (4 Janv) envelope to Tauris, Persia franked ‘1 Piastre1’ on 25c. tied by two Trebizonde Turquie D’Asie cds, reverse with Russian Tiflis and Batum transits.

1891 10pf postal stationery card from Lubeck with company chop top left to Malmo, Sweden cancelled by fine triple ring ‘1’ numeral of Copenhagen, Danish transit cds to left and arrival cds bottom right.

1891 3m. on 5m. postal stationery card with a range of instructional hand stamps and cancellations of Samanoud including three negative handstamps and a Samanoud Caisse cds, Registration and T handstamps, AR and Return cancels. Very fine and unusual.


1891 cover franked on reverse 1890 1pi. tied bilingual Gangri (Gankiri) cds of Central Anatolia (RRR), boxed Stamboul date stamp alongside, address panel damaged on front.

1891 outer letter sheet to London bearing single franking perf 14 4d yellow tied ‘A11’ obliterator with cds in association to right, London Paid arrival at left; light horizontal filing crease, fine.


1891 registered cover to New York franked 'Parisot' U.P.U. overprinted issues roulette 2ct. on 20c. pair and perforated 50ct on 1/2p. pair, both with pen crosses and blue despatch cds, registration hanstamp below, arrival backstamp; light vertical filing crease and some glue staining around 2c. pair. The stamps, as opposed to the stationery, are very rare on cover.
