Readdressed to Lashio via Maymo arriving OC 7 – 8 (Latest Recorded Date), readdressed to Bangkok, Thailand via Singapore with arrival backstamp of 6/11. Reverse of card bears printed message from The Anthropological Society of Bombay for a meeting on 26th Sept.

1894 (AGO 13) 10c stationery envelope uprated 5c. (2) and 10c. to Paris, two Sonsonate target duplex, Paris Etranger arrival at top, New York transit backstamp. Light vertical filing crease clear of stamps at left and a couple of light tones.

1894 (MR 14) registered stationery envelope, up-rated 2½d to London and tied fine 'FORCADOS RIVER', index C (scarce) cds. LIVERPOOL transit and LONDON arrival cancels.

1895 (Ago 14) uprated 5c. postal stationery envelope to Zurich with 1895 1c. and pair 2c. tied by violet Tegucicalpa barred cancel, reverse with New York transits and arrival cds.

1895 (Aug) '1895' 6c. on 5c. postal stationery envelope A.R. registered to Essen, Germany additionally franked on reverse with 'Arms' 1c (straight edge) and strip of three 6c.cancelled registration handstamp; fine condition.

1895 (MR 15) red surcharge 4 CENTS on 3c. postal stationery card used to Lima, Peru cancelled with index B cds, transits of San Francisco and New York plus large arrival cds of 12 Mayo. A fine and most unusual destination.

1895 1d postal stationery card to Manchester written from Warrea, uncancelled on despatch, noticed in transit at Liverpool where ‘466’ obliterator applied, red Paid Liverpool Br Packet date stamp; some slight tone spotting.

1895 20 paras postal stationery card to London cancelled with double-ring bilingual Mersine date stamp, with company record handstamps on arrival.

1895 One Penny postal stationery card to Tring, bearing barred numeral cancel and red 'FREETOWN/SIERRA LEONE' cds at left as well as 'PAID/LIVERPOOL/BR PACKET' transit date stamp; fine and clean condition.


1896 (12 Oct) 10k stationery letter card to Calcarra, Malta written from H.M.S. “Trafalgar” at Salonica cancelled violet ROPIT SALONIKI cds, British Post Office Constantinople transit, Malta B cds and part Cospicua cds, reverse with ROPIT Constantinopoli transit. Slight stain bottom left and some more on reverse not unduly detracting.


1896 (29 FE) 20c registered stationery envelope to Paris uprated 10c. and three 20c. tied oval despatch date stamps, reverse with Madrid transit and Paris arrival, also showing the small red wax seal of the Postmistress (Miss Cresswell).
