1938 (13 Mai) commercial airmail envelope to Paris franked 65c. and 2f. tied by multi-faceted BONABERI NKONGSAMBA CAMEROUN TPO date stamp, arrival backstamp.
1939 (NO 10) cover to Cayman Brac Post Office underfranked 1938-44 1d. green tied clear cds, bottom left framed ‘T/C’ handstamp with manuscript charge, a 1938-48 2d. ‘Turtles’ cancelled with ‘T’ in circle, reverse with Cayman Brac cds of JA 20, (the earliest recorded date); a little tone spotting.
1940 (8 Dec) cover bearing three + 5Frs./ SPITFIRE values plus 25c. Waterfalls tied Nkongsamba Cameroun cds, framed illustrated ‘Journee Du Spitfire’ handstamp, these stamps were used towards the cost of purchasing the fighter plane for the Free French Airforce.
1940 (AU 2) cover to San Nicolas, Aruba, Netherland West Indies bearing single franking 2½d. tied Georgetown double ring cds, with to left ‘Opened by Censor’ apple green label with stop (a late date), reverse with Curacao transit (28.8.) and arrival cds (30.8.). Some glue staining around label, scarce
1945 long O.H.M.S. envelope (355mm centrally folded) sent from Radio Nuku’alofa to Auckland, New Zealand franked at 7d., 3 to 4 ounces rate, with 1d. and 6d.; without any backstamps. Surely one of the largest OHMS covers.

British Post Offices: 1898 (9.12.) cover to London bearing very fine 1.P.T. Union Jack revenue stamp and International Occupation Governor Monfatsi with manuscript initials, passed to Austrian Post Office with 1pi on 10c tied Candia Oesterreichsche Post cds of 12th, redirected upon arrival with London square circle at top, London S.W. arrival backstamp. Extremely fine examples of the British handstamps, the Union Jack handstamp was in use only from December 1898 to July 1899; a little roughly opened with tear top left.

Incoming cover from London on DE 23/ 79 franked wing marginal 6d. gray, addressed to Dunedin and endorsed “Till called for”, arrival backstamp of 24 FE 80, UNCLAIMED straight-line handstamp and cds of same colour dated 9 JU and sent to Dead Letter Office at Wellington arriving JU 19 80. Some creasing at top affecting the stamp but still attractive.
