The prices current is about Flax and Hemp and the difficulty of supply at this time of year with a frozen Baltic Sea. Part of top of entire missing.

U No.3, framed Italian PIROSCAFI/POSTALI/FRANCESI handstamp, reverse with Messina transit and arrival date stamps.

1867 envelope to Bordeaux franked ‘Eagle’ 10c. (touched margin) and a 40c. cancelled lozenge GOR in a blue-grey shade, Senegal Et Dept Gorce date stamp in same ink, Bordeaux maritime cancel below, the envelope being endorsed “paket francais”. With contents. Behr Certificate.

1867 ‘Steamer and Eagle’ 10 para, vertical network, block of four with good to large margins all round cancelled with four blue retta cancels, the upper two stamps with ironed out horizontal creases (invisible from front), small pre-cuts between stamps, a very rare and attractive multiple, signed Pfenniger. Ex Faberge (1940), Dr Casey (2016) and Berg (2020).
